The IV Eurasian Economic Forum was held in Minsk, timed to coincide with the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council with the participation of the heads of state of the EAEU countries.
The Center for Electronic Finance JSC participated in the forum and presented Kazakhstan's experience of digitalization in the field of public procurement.
Denis Yakovlevich Svirsky, Deputy Chairman of the Board of CEF JSC, delivered a report at the thematic session "Public Procurement in the EAEU: reality, Opportunities and Prospects".
"Purchasing through e–shops in Kazakhstan means accessibility, transparency and involvement of a wide range of suppliers, including small and medium–sized businesses," Denis Svirsky said.
The Center for Electronic Finance JSC presented Kazakhstan's approach, in which the digitalization of public procurement is aimed at protecting bona fide producers and optimizing budget expenditures. With increasing demands for efficiency and cost transparency, the development of digital tools such as e-shops is one of the priorities.
Denis Svirsky also shared information about the ongoing work on cataloging goods and the introduction of the analytical module "Price Database", which allows to form a fair pricing policy and prevent price overstatement in public procurement.
